Thanks to art fair shoppers

Thanks to all who stopped by the Ewe to You Yarns booth at the Grand Blanc Art Fair on Sunday. The weather was perfect for this outdoor event in Michigan on Sunday. Saturday was a wash but Sunday gave us some heat, lots of sunshine and a venue for creative innovation. go artists go. And now...Back to the Bricks....

Are you feeling a little over whelmed by your stash? We are sponsoring a new charity this fall. Use some of your stash and knit or crochet hats, scarves or mittens in any size. Bring them into the shop to be picked up by The United Way. You can reduce your yarn supply and help keep Michiganders warm this winter. There is not much better than a '2 for 1'.

Anyone planning to attend the Allegan Fiber Festival this weekend?

Hello fiber artists,

We are trying a new tack this year and will be manning or woman-ing a booth at the Grand Blanc Art Fair in Physicians Park this week end Aug 8th and 9th. Look for us and stop by to chat. We will be having periodic spinning demonstrations and of course showing some yarn, patterns and local artist's accessories. The projects bags and pouches made by a Flushing artist are especially nice. You go Cherry. Come watch a local spinner turn wool into yarn, this process still fascinates me, and don't I wish I had the patience for this. Help support Grand Blanc and the local businesses at this community event.

Our traditional Knitting 911 help session on Saturday will be cancelled at Ewe to You Yarns as we will be at the Art Fair. Hold those questions and small problems for Wednesday's 911 at 2pm. More later, after the fact
